N-Back does not collect, transmit, or share any data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
Nothing. N-Back has no user accounts, no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and no tracking. There is no server behind the app — we never see your data. The app's only network communication is with Apple's App Store, to show current prices and process optional purchases (see "Purchases" below); that traffic goes to Apple, not to us.
The only usage information we can ever see comes from Apple, not from the app: if you have opted in to sharing analytics with app developers (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple provides us with aggregated download, usage, and crash statistics that do not identify you. That sharing is optional, controlled entirely by you in iOS, and covered by Apple's privacy policy.
To work, N-Back stores the following locally on your device only:
Like any app's local data, this may be included in your device backups (iCloud or computer backups) if you have them enabled — that is controlled by you through iOS, not by us.
If you enable the optional daily training reminder, N-Back schedules a local notification on your device. No server is involved. You can revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.
If you make an optional purchase in the app (such as N-Back Pro), the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment details, and purchase entitlements are verified on your device. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
Because we receive no data from the app, there is nothing we could access, export, or delete on your behalf — deletion is entirely in your control, on your device.
N-Back collects no data from anyone, including children.
If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated with a new effective date before the change takes effect.
N-Back is developed and published by Michał Skowron, Kraków, Poland — the party responsible ("data controller") for the practices described in this policy.

The one case where we handle personal data: if you email us, we receive your address and whatever your message contains. We use them only to reply, keep the correspondence only as long as needed to help you, and never add your address to a mailing list or share it with anyone, except where the law requires us to disclose it. Because our mailbox runs on Google's Gmail service, the correspondence is stored and processed by Google on our behalf under Google's privacy policy. That can include processing on servers outside the European Economic Area; such transfers are covered by safeguards Google provides, including its certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and EU standard contractual clauses. Our legal basis for this under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in responding to you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete that correspondence, or to object to or restrict our processing of it, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
